Each unique backgammon board or table is in every detail tailored to the individual for whom it is being made. What part of their life is reflected, whether it be their whole biography or just one element, their family, their favourite hobbies, a mixture of all these things, or simply their love of a colour.
Alexandra takes time to meet and work with her bespoke clients to translate their achievements, family and memories into the gaming points – the backgammon board becomes a living expression of a clients life story. Every step in the process of creating the board - from materials, finishes & palettes to design motifs - is determined with the client. Resulting in an exquisitely hand painted, one-off piece that will be played and admired by generations to come.
